Hey, Welcome to the blog. I am really grateful to you for visiting the blog and bothering to at least read the first line of my first post and at the same time I highly appreciate your decision to read the post further, because the answers to your curious questions like "What is this blog about?" and "Why is it here?" lie somewhere in the middle of the content that follows. So in any case, you(girls especially) have to go through the complete post in order to calm your curiosity. So here I start........
Folks, as the placement season is imminent, the level of anxiety, apprehension and distress on the beautiful and handsome faces is rising exponentially with each passing day. The insatiable expectations of parents, daunting competition from peers ,mounting pressure due to some other 'n' adjunct factors constantly poke us to cultivate a 'fear of failure' within us which consequently leaves us becoming self-proclaimed stupids, underestimating(and at times overestimating) ourselves and stating some foolish but interesting self-addressed facts , 'Dude! am i really worth it?' , 'Yaar! Mere bas ki nai hai' , yet another one 'Bhai! Aukaat se bahar hai' and the best one, 'ehe tan mere peo ton vi ni hona'(even my dad can't do this).
This 'fear of failure' is a real monster and we have to get rid of it before the first company arrives on the campus for placements. Now having said all that stuff, let's come to the point as to 'why is this blog set up?' and 'why did I say what I said above?'
This blog has been set up with various purposes:
1. Being a self-proclaimed PC(placement coordinator),to share with you all the crucial information about the placements which would be coming your way in times to come.
2. To encourage some healthy placement related Q&A's in order to avoid any kind of misconception or confusion regarding the placements or the companies visiting the campus for placements.
3. To post some good, important, interesting, placement oriented, conceptual, technical or aptitude based questions in order to prepare for the interviews and tests and to have a diverse set of questions to discuss and solve.
And most importantly
4 To get rid of that fear of failure monster.
So, with all the purposes clearly mentioned above, I very strongly believe and hope that everyone would fairly contribute to the blog and create a conducive learning environment so that all of us can derive the right benefits out of it.
Anyways it has been too long a post and very much against my allergic-to-writing image, so I decide to finally end the post here and wish you all a very good luck for the forthcoming placement season.
HAPPY PLACEMENTS FOLKS!!!!
Thanx for showing your concern .That was really life affirming and i hope we will enjoy this placement season!!!
